Gene Davis Colored Pencil Set
- Set of 12 dual-ended colored pencils
- Tin decorated with artwork by Gene Davis
Gene Davis was a Washington, DC artist and part of the 1960’s Washington Color School art movement. He regarded the stripe as “Subject matter – in the same way that one artist uses the nude and another landscape.” Davis described his method as “Extremely romantic, chaotic, intuitive – anything but careful and calculated.”
