Printed Wooden Fractal Earrings - Wattle

Polli is a low C02 company which is socially responsible, reducing their environmental footprint wherever possible. The designers, Maja Rose and Tess Lloyd, met in 1999 while studying Industrial Design at the University of Technology, Sydney. Tess and Maja began making jewelry from the off-cuts and cut-outs they would save from creating baskets and soon they began using other materials to design even more. This wooden jewelry line is made in Australia from plantation hoop pine ply and finished with coordinating toggles. This season sees the introduction of unique water color prints and graphic pops of neon. Polli products are designed to last both in their durability of material and process and also in their independent design aesthetic. Their work is reminiscent of the hand-crafted jewelry, a signature part of the Renwick Gallery’s collection of fine craft.
